Six steps for learning difficult subjects quickly


If you have a hard subject to learn, dont' start with a slow methodical study – save that for later if you must. Start immediately with a full throttle blitz on the entire textbook. Read it, tackle it, eat it alive do whatever you have to to grab the big picture before you start poking around with all those details. That's how I'd summarize the first part of Six steps for learning difficult subjects quickly over at Paul's Tips. I would remove one unnecessary curse word. (are any of them ever necessary? – that's a topic for another entry.)
The point of the writeup is helping you and I learn alot in a short time. Seminary students, pastors, teachers, employees with a new task.
