Beta 0.5 Released

Rapid progress today, I’ve squashed several bugs that were driving me nuts.

Proceed to https://sourceforge.net/projects/libronixtools/ for the download.

Installing the Filter

  1. Download and extract the filter to a location you intend to leave it at.
  2. Open the OpenOffice.org word processor.
  3. Click TOOLS >> XML Filter Settings…
  4. Click NEW
    • In the General Tab
    • In Filter Name type: Libronix Sermon File
    • In Application: leave as OpenOffice.org Writer (.odt)
    • Name of File type: Libronix 3 Sermon File
    • File Extension lbxsfl
  5. In the Transformation Tab
    • Under XSLT for export click browse and navigate to where you saved the OOo2lbxsfl.xslt file, and choose it.
    • Leave the other blanks empty.
    • Click OK.
  6. Click CLOSE on the XML filter settings dialog

Using the Filter

  1. Load or edit your sermon in OpenOffice.org
  2. Click FILE >> PROPERTIES and fill in the information as follows
    • Title: the title of your sermon
    • subject: the main passage of your sermon. If you must include serveral separate them with semi-colons.
    • Keywords: this is a comma separated list of Logos topics (e.g. Salvation, Jesus, Cross)
    • Comments: these are the personalized notes which are not published to the logos server
      (e.g. “great sermon today, lots of positive feedback and some new decisions for Christ!”)
    • Click OK.
  3. Save your file in it’s normal format. (e.g. *.odt)
  4. Click FILE >> EXPORT…
  5. Save the document using “save as type” set to Libronix 3 Sermon File.
    Put it in the proper location for your Libronix Sermon Files
    This is usually: My Documents/Libronix DLS/SermonFile
  6. Open Logos 3 and then your new sermon file (under the name you put in the properties dialog)
