A Handful of Inspirational Media Sites

Hard to believe another year is already upon us! One of my New Year’s resolutions is to blog more here on a regular basis. Good news is while I’ve been “on vacation”, I’ve picked up some excellent topics to blog about, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy the wealth of new information that’s coming.

To gradually get back into the swing of blogging, I decided to kick off my first post of the New Year on a lighter note mentioning a few inspirational media sites that can help you spend more time in the Word of God while listening to some solid Biblical teaching. I frequently listen to a couple of these as I get the chance, and I hope they’ll be a blessing to you as well.

Toccoa Falls Radio. Toccoa Falls Radio is a radio station about 20-30 minutes from where I live, and the station broadcasts inspirational programs such as Dr. Charles Stanley and Adrian Rogers. It’s a nice little radio station with an online live feed, great for turning in to quick, random inspiration from some excellent pastors.

InTouch Messenger Download. InTouch Ministries (Dr. Charles Stanley) released this little box that was originally sent overseas to our soldiers in order for them to hear the Gospel and listen to solid Biblical teaching from Dr. Stanley. InTouch later expanded the InTouch Messenger boxes into multiple languages and has also sent them to missionaries around the world. Now, anyone can take home a copy of the InTouch Messenger by downloading (in multiple languages!) all of the content on the InTouch Messenger and syncing them to an iPod or MP3 player. Perfect to put more copies of the InTouch Messenger into the hands of more missionaries, or just to download and listen to the sermon content on-the-go.

Burgess Road Baptist Church. A church out of Pensacola, FL, I’ve enjoyed watching their streaming live (and archived) church services from time to time. Excellent Biblically-sound preaching, some beautiful music, and a great inspirational enjoyment.

23rd Psalm Booklet. Not really a “media site”, but if anyone has attended one of Morris Proctor’s Camp Logos seminars, he usually gives out a little booklet from Rob Morgan called “The Lord is My Shepherd. That’s enough!”. This little booklet really touched my heart, and if any church or ministry organization is interested in ordering a set of them to pass around, Morris makes it easy to do so from his website.

These are just a few inspirational sites to kick off this year with, and I’ll be writing more content coming up as my time permits! I hope everyone is having a great year so far, and I pray that this is a year we can all serve the Lord even more and use this fresh new start to spend even more time with Him.
