Tozer Knowledge of the Holy Day 2: God Incomprehensible

In today’s reading, Tozer touches on the incomprehensibility of God. This is not to say that we cannot know God, His attributes, or have a deep, personal, intimate relationship with Him. We certainly can. In fact, we were created by God to know God and to have a personal, intimate relationship with Him. What Tozer is stating is truly the awesomeness of God. He is showing us how infinite God really is. While we can do our best to study His attributes and His ways through our study of Systematic Theology, we could spend countless millennia in the study of Theology and write countless books on the subject and still scratch the surface for all that there is to know about God. God is so awesome and infinite, that as we approach our study of His attributes and His ways through Systematic Theology, we must do so with a spirit of humility, knowing we are but scratching the surface of all there is to know about our Lord. Heavenly Father, how awesome and infinite you are, that as we come together this semester to study Systematic Theology, that we will do so with a spirit of humility, knowing that as we study Your ways and Your attributes, than in all […]
