Tozer Knowledge of the Holy Day 20: God’s Love

This entry is part 21 of 24 in the series Tozer-Knowledge of the Holy

The love of God is the subject Tozer touches on in today’s reading. Our God holds an infinite and eternal love for mankind. Some question why a loving God would send people to Hell. The answer is that God does not send people to Hell because He does not love sinners; those that wind up in Hell end up there because they have rejected the love of God and refused to return the love. God wishes for all to come to repentance, and His love extends to the entire world. The question is, will we reach out and accept His love through the atoning death of His Son Jesus Christ?

Heavenly Father, as we reflect upon Your everlasting love, we are thankful for You sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, and for Your everlasting love to extend to us. We accept Your love and Your Son’s payment for our sins on the cross. Thank You for saving us and ushering us into Your family. We pray this in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
