Tozer Knowledge of the Holy Day 21: God’s Holiness

This entry is part 22 of 24 in the series Tozer-Knowledge of the Holy

In today’s reading, Tozer touches on the holiness of God. Our God is holy! Our sin separates us as vast as an endless canyon compared to holy God. We should throw ourselves at the throne of God, humbling Him and acknowledging His holiness. In it in God’s grace that He sent His holy Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins, so we can even be worthy enough to be in the presence of a holy God through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We should reflect on how high and holy our God is as the Ruler of the universe.

Heavenly Father, as we reflect upon Your holiness, we recognize how unworthy we are to be in Your presence, but through the atoning death and precious blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, we can throw ourselves at Your throne and have a personal relationship with You. We are thankful for You sending Your Son as our payment for our sins, and we stand in awe of Your holiness. We pray this in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
