Scripture Sunday: Philippians 4:6

Philippians 4—Performance. •Conduct: the saints were to be steadfast, united, helpful, rejoicing, moderate, praying (which stops worry), and pure of mind. •Contributions: The Philippians’ gifts to Paul’s ministry. They were liberal (their giving flourished); they were loyal (“once and again”); and they were loners (the only church to help Paul). •Conclusion: the glory of God, the greeting of saints, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is all involved in the conclusion. –Butler’s Daily Bible Reading
