How do I use the L3 files on this site with my L4/L5 Logos?

Unfortunately the L3 files will not import into L4/L5.

Did they not have to start out as a MS Doc file as well? Could we ask for folks who put up L3 PBB to post the doc files so we with L4/L5 could use PBB to create a book for our versions?

I already asked some months ago, in some cases the answer was no. In others the answer was, "sorry I lost the sources." In the latter case it was truly disastrous.
