One of the enemies most ardent and frequent attacks upon the people of God is the threat of lost salvation. I am certain no greater damage is done to the kingdom than by this hellish attack. I am not mumbling about that flawed and heretical doctrine that God is going to drop you like a hot potato if you sin - though it's damage is equally horrible. I am here concerned with the damage the evil one inflicts upon God's true servants by hinting to them that they have lost or have not gained salvation. Your Testimony

At it's most basic your testimony is the story of how you came to know Jesus. It is in its purist form the fulfillment of Acts 1:8. When you tell someone how you became a Christian, you are being a witness; which is to say that you are recounting what you experienced. That is what a witness does.
Your testimony can take many forms but as a guideline it should probably contain the following:

  1. Your Life before you were a Christian
  2. How you became a Christian including a clear presentation of the gospel.

My Testimony

I grew up in a family that went to church on Sunday’s but somehow I never learned to carry my faith over to Monday or even beyond 11 AM when Church was over.
