Crying out to God for “Next” means we are not going to rely upon our own wisdom. God’s plan isn’t to use what we can do, but what he can do.
Moses thought he could do it his way. In Exodus 2:11-14 the beautiful child Moses had grown into a man who believed murdering one Egyptian would solve a problem. But it didn’t take long to find out how wrong he was. As a result the prince of Egypt ran away into the wilderness. He spent forty years watching sheep and living in exile.
Praise God that the Lord was not through with his deliverer, but first he had to be taught to rely upon God rather than on his own wisdom.
